I know what I want, and everyone thinks this is crazy, but I know a good artist could draw it to look nice. I am a Leo so I want a sorta lion & fairy combination. Something with lion features but that is femine. Strong, but delicate, like I like to think I am. Does anybody know where I could find a picture of something like this, or someone that could draw it?

the BEST thing you can do is consult a custom tattoo artist. it is not necessary for you to have an image that is ready to be tattooed. artists do their best work when they are allowed to create a design. just make sure you find a talented artist who will do your skin justice.

Its something i did when i was 13 and now im 19 and married and its on my lower back my husband hates it and so do i its time i get it covered up any tips on good tattoo designs im thinking like a fairy or a butterfly or wings!
oh yeah its a name of an x boyfriend that i had in high school!! its in old english letters in my lower back!

The "bottom" line for all cover ups, is that you will need to use darker colors. Usually black. Otherwise the old tat will show through. Most people use a design with colors (using the black part of the design to cover the old tat) or go with a tribal design. The best way is to cover with black ink. Good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good. Any respectable shop will be able too help with any design you might be thinking.

I am looking at getting a lower back tattoo that would be a design that represents new beginnings – my ex left 6 months ago and Im happy and am starting a new life with myself and my daughter – Im thinking lower back as its an area that shows every now and then especially with low cut jeans and although Im not fat I am widish with some love handles on the side but flattish in the tummy area – so I figure if people have to look at something I may as well put a tattoo there so it deflects from the love handles

I already have an upper back (or lower neck) tattoo in the centre of a mother fairy holding a newborn infant and the words in chinese charecters My Angel … …. ( the … represent my daughters name which is Chinese although neither myself or her father are Chinese) I also have a celtic type arm band and roses and vines as an anklet.

Im thinking for this one a scene would be nice but Im not sure – Im also not sure with my body do I get a wide tattoo or …cont
or a tattoo that goes up the spine more than being wide – I have all the tattoo sites in my favorites list already so dont need links to these – however if you have an image in mind either a link or a link to the site and then the artist and title so I can look it up would be good.

Serious answers only would be appreciated – Im aware some people think they are tramp stamps and to be honest I couldnt care less about your opinions – its your right to have them but its also my right to enjoy these images and art works.

What better way to symbolize a new fresh start and beginning than with permanent ink. A woman gets a tattoo to remind her of her difficult divorce, but to also remind her of her new start. After a bad run in with the law, a man gets a new tattoo to honor the way his life has changed since.

So mabey you could get a tattoo that says Half-Life:New begginings that would be really nice!!

and then mabey put like a heart or a flower or the sun something bright and nice to show a fresh happy start for you and your daughter!!!

Im currently designing a tattoo of a sad fairy, and driving my self mad trying to design her wings.
The fairy is almost a side profile, so you can see both wings, but the closest one is more or less all in shot.
The thing is I want them to look tattered and ripped with holes in,
do you know where I can find any sites/pics that I can get ideas from?

I want something very unique. with like little bitty stars and a rose, some tribal. something that no one else would have. may be a lower back tattoo/ or a fairy something unique tho. nothing anyone else would ever think about getting. (maybe a Pisces symbol with both)

There’s plenty of artists out there willing to design tattoos. Many who specialize in it. But it won’t be free. In fact, for a custom design, it could be quite expensive. But given the generic guidelines, you’re bound to find exactly what you want in the books and binders at tattoo shops. Unless, of course, you think tribal designs, stars, fairies and zodiac symbols are a rare choice for tattoos.
