I have designed a Tattoo that means a lot to me – it has a picture of a mother fairy holding a baby fairy and beside that in Kanji are 6 charecters that mean My Angel Tai Lee (my daughters name) the name is Chinese – we are not but I thought this might help with any answers (hence the Kanji charecters) I already have an arm band on the right arm and ankle band on the right ankle.. my more conservative sister has suggested the shoulder blade (I like this but then Id never see it) hubby thinks it should go either over my heart or on my left arm – I know the design is right for me (It took me a little while to design it) but Im booked in to have it done tomorrow and Im still not settled on a location.. I have looked through heaps of galleries even tried my parents but they just said hmmmm cant tell you that one (Im the black sheep of the family they just love me and accept me what ever I do LOL) it measures about 15cm x 15cm in size – OH I dont have a good tummy for it (had a c-section)
A couple of inches below your neck, on your back between your two shoulder blades. And just a suggestion, as someone who can read a bit of kanji, please make sure with someone who is well read in kanji to check your characters, because as you may already be aware, each kanji character can have several meanings and sounds, and so you may have a combination that says something strange, other than "My Angel Tai Lee". I have seen some people with really strange kanji tatoos. Good luck, hope it goes well!

Dont know about cork; but in my opinion Celtic ressurection in Sligo is AWSOME (think the guy is called Skull)!!! world class… they have a website with a mini portfoliio www.celticresurrection.com/ .he has pictures in his shop of much better stuff even than that! even if you have to travel its worth it for a really good tatt its gonna be on you for the rest of ur life! you could probably email them a pic of the design fer a quote…but if you don fancy traveling that far i would suggest posting this question in the travel>Ireland section on yahoo answers and get the opinions of more irish people…maybe someone from cork will know a good place!
So I know I want a fairy for my tattoo but I want to look at some designs online to get an idea of what kind I want to get. I really want a fairy on her knees praying with a rosary..but that was very hard to search. PLEASE….help me find a website to find some good designs and possibly, ones that I can print them out. if you go to a good tattoo artist they can put things together the way you want them you can bring in a variety of different pics and have them incorporate them into the tattoo…
I am going on a hen night not long after I get a tattoo done which will go down the spine of my back. I had the ingenious idea of wearing fairy wings so that no one can knock it when I’m in a club. Only thing is that I will need the wings to be elavated from my back somehow so they won’t touch the tattoo. Can anyone think of how this could be done.

Attach the wings to your shirt or make elastic loop to go around your arms like a sleeve. Good Luck

Ive been thinking about this for a while and its mixed, some people say i should do what i want and others are like ‘no! dont ruin your skin’ Im only 15 so not even legal for one yet :’(, but plently more time to think about it. I’m thinking of getting a Bunny, Because thats my nickname, and i like bunnies. My other choices – Dove Fairy Pixie Rose i only want small ones also… oh well my bunny means allot. There always runnin about carefree and that how i want to be carfree of what others think.

Fairy Tattoo Designs for GirlsO.k. so I’m going to be getting my next tattoo here soon and I have a general idea of what I want but I can’t find any pictures or anything to use as a referance. I really want to let the tattoo artist be creative and come up with something but I would really like pictures to use as a referance etc. Anyway I want some kind of a vine tattoo going up my right leg (from about mid calf up) with some small flower buds. I want there to be like a fairy at the bottom of it like its working it’s way up and then other little things around the vine/flowers or sitting on the leaves. ie. ladybugs, butterflys, etc.
The tattoo is going to be on a big portion of my leg and visible when I wear shorts/skirts so I want it to look feminine and sexy. Any ideas on good websites to find pictures or anybody wanna draw me something? It can be differant than what I described and it doesn’t have to be ladybugs/butterfly’s but you get the idea.

Realy I think if you described that to your tattoo artist they’d be able to get something perfect for you drawn up.

My boyfriend and I want to get matching tattoos, but we are having a hard time deciding what to get. We talked about getting a fairy/unicorn design….unicorns represent him and fairies represent me. But we are open to other ideas.
How about matching ENGAGEMENT rings first. At least if that doesn’t work out, you can take the ring OFF.
