I am looking for my hubby for him to get some ideas and i cant seem to find anything that we like and everything always cost money just to look at them so hopefully someone on here could help me thanks guys.

i’m thinking about getting my 4th tattoo.. & its going to be my biggest one so far… here’s the idea:

"Believe In Love" is the theme for my back… i have this alreadyon my lower back:

I also already have a great artist who does all my tattoos, he’s great with detail and portrait work which this kind of fits into but i will definately make sure that we are on the same page as to ceratin elements. thanks for that advice.

I think it will look great in black and white. I would incorporate the flowers into her hair. Waves would probably look better than swirls surrounding the two. You could incorporate some color into it, maybe get the flowers colored? What I have done before is to make a few copies of the design and then use some colored pencils to highlight certain areas that you want color in. That way you can see somewhat what it will look like. Either way, good luck, looks like that one will take a while.

Make sure you check out the artist before you get the tattoo, some artists are not the best at small detail and/or faces.

If you can afford about $50-$100 more, go see the tatoo artist and ask them to draw one for you.I think like 99% of the artists will do this for a fee.
This way you can tell them exactly what you want and they can create it for you.
It is worth the money because then you have a compleatly original peice on your body and not some trendy pic that someone is gonna say "hey, didn’t I see that pic on the internet?"

If it is for that specific shop… then no. I suggest you go to shop and look at the artists portfolios they have there.

I am looking to get a tat with either a butterfly or a nice flower, with the word maganda (=beautiful in filipino, i am part filipino)
i need help with either pictures of nice butterflies about the size of my fist, on my upper back, or for someone to pleaaaase help me pick a certain FLOWER that HAS A MEANING to it.
is there a flower that means good blessings, or life or something really nice?
the meaning of the tattoo to me will basically remind me of INNER beauty of myself, and that i am free, and very blessed, and to cherish life.

im intrested in getting a jack skellington tattoo. i love The nightmare before christmas and i wanted to get a group picture of the cast, jack, sally, mayor….ect on my right side…..i was wondering if there was anybody that knew how to do nightmare before christmas tattoos very well, becasue i dont have alot of pictures to go by, anyone who has looked for nightmare before x-mas pics can tell you its really hard to find quality ones, so it would be nice if the artist was familiar with how the characters looked. it would be great if the tattoo shop was in the D.C. metro area, but im willing to travel. if you are an artist please feel free to e-mail me, Cabz2018@yahoo.com…

you’re probably not going to find artists on here looking for clients… and if you did i don’t think i would want to take them up on their offer to tattoo me. you should research artists in your area. don’t worry about finding an artist who has previously done nightmare before christmas tattoos. just look for someone who is extremely talented. i have seen a LOT of NBC tattoos and i can tell you that some of them are amazingly done and some look like crap so the artists talent should be the number one deciding factor. it will require some foot work on your part. you need to look at portfolios of artists which means looking on the internet or even going to shops.

I recently got two tattoos done and the tattoo artist decided not to add white during the session. However, he told me to think about adding some white later on to brighten up the colors and to slightly tone down the cartoon look of it. He said he would do it free of charge if I wanted to come back later in the fall.

However, I’m not a tattoo artist so I don’t really know how the white would look and if would improve the tattoos. I’m in love with how the tattoos look now…. Any suggestions?

The artist basically said it was up to me…which didn’t help too much. But I will definitely contact him again to see what he thinks. I know it’s kind of difficult to tell when they’re freshly tattooed.

It appears like he’s already used white in it. I think it looks really good the way it is. Nice work.

I think if further down the road you think the colors need brightening, then have it touched up then, but it’s bright enough already.
