What language would be most appropriate when pertaining to Celtic Cross Tattoos?

I’ve been looking around at celtic cross tattoos, and I want a Celtic Cross emblem with some text in another language. I was thinking either some form of Gaelic or something of the sort.
Any one of the Celtic languages would be suitable : Welsh, Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic, Manx, Cornish, Breton. I suggest that you use the old Celtic typeface for the writing.http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=403 If you decide to do it in Welsh, I could help you with the translation.

The Keltic Cross predates moder beliefs, but has been fully integrated into modern belief.

I recommend contacting a college in the UK for translation help. Have the reverse translation checked, and make sure the tattoo artist understands how to write it.

Remember this is going to be permanently on your body…

Any Celtic language or "futhorc", the Anglo-Saxon variant of the Runic alphabet.

But cover it up when you come to continental Europe, because here the Celtic Cross is adopted by several extreme-right and neo-nazi groups.
