I was just wondering how much are tattooists charging to just DRAW up designs/tattoos for people?
It depends on how big or small/detail etc that is in the tattoo you want. I asked about getting a tattoo designed in my local tattoo shop and they told me it was £20 plus whatever it was to get it done.
It varies a lot though, different tattooist charge different rates.
Hope this helps

it depends on the artist (they don’t have to be a tattooist) and what kind and size of design you want. personally, i don’t charge very much (i’ve designed tattoos, but i’m not actually a tattooist) because i don’t design them very often, so mine are never more than $20. but yeah, it depends on if the person does it for a living and if you just want a small thing or a full sleeve or what.

That depends largely on the design, and how long it takes us to whip it out. Time is money. Some studios are more flexible on this than others. Some start their custom charges at the time they begin drawing, some charge less. Most will not draw up something, then let it leave the shop. They don’t want you taking their work to another tattoo artist, or worse, a scratcher. Someone could do a crappy job, then put your name on it. Same reason we don’t usually touch another artist’s work. That’s the name of that tune.
