hiii so i’m planning on getting a tattoo of a really cool tribal cross on my wrist. i want it to be just a simple black cross. but i have been noticing that most peoples tattoos that are supposed to be black appear to be blue, does anyone know why is this is. I dont want to walk around with a blue cross on my wrist, i just want it to be black! please someone help me!
I have black that looks black, not blue. After had it done I went back the following week and had it done again so it is dark black. I use sunscreen on it when I tan and still it is unmistakably black.

Squares or four-fold shapes are shield knots, symbols of protection from spirits or malevolent influence. Interlaced animals and men usually represent relationships, or emphasize the interdependence of mankind and nature.
The Celts themselves left very little in the way of records, and most symbols are interpreted by archaeologists and other scholars who study the symbols in context. Some ancient Celtic symbols have changed in meaning over time, having been influenced by the introduction of Christianity and the influence of other cultures.

It is really difficult to look up a tattoo that means something to you. You should spend sometime thinking about your life and values and you will come up with it. What is the most important part of your life? Will it remain important for the length of time you will have your tattoo? These are questions that will help you decide.
