nothin too small but not huge either
ok in my opinion tribal tattoos are the worst u could possibly get. your not in a tribe of anykind. and they are everywhere. why get something that everybody has. just because they are the "in" tattoo right now doesnt mean that they are gonna be "in" when u are like 40. get something that has meaning to you or something that you like to do. too many people are funning around getign the tribal tattoo. my tattoo has meaning to it and it is something that i can live with for the rest of my life knowing that i didnt get ti because everybody else has it. im not telling you that you cant get it im just saying that you should really think about what u want to get and not something that everybody else has.

If you need to questions others about the most basic qualities of your tattoo — things that you should come up with yourself — you shouldn’t be getting a tatto in the first place. It has to be meaningful to you, not what someone on the internet says. Also, tribal pieces are over-played, and (in my eyes) ugly. They are unoriginal, and just tacky. Think about what you want rather than getting it because you can.

the best idea i can tell you is not to get a tribal tattoo at all, regardless of it’s location. tribal tattoo is so played out and poser. unless you actually belong to a tribe, just don’t do it.

Sorry dude, In this day and age, when a good tattoo artist can duplicate ANYTHING you want; from your favorite painting or picture to……..well, anything you can imagine and all you can come up with is black designs tattooed on your body. If you were a member of a tribe that has a tradition of body decorations then I would say go for it………but the tribe you see wearing most of the tribal is the "Dumbass Tribe", and their numbers appear to be growing daily. Seriously. Go to a site like http://tattooartists.org and look at some real tattoos. I’m sure you can some up with something better than black stripes or patterns.

Go to tattoojohnny, tattoofinder, or other websites associated with that. If you are going to get a tribal tattoo, find one that is unique and might possibly somehow have some meaning to you. If you really want one, go for it. Yes today they are overdone and a lot of people share similiar looking ones, but if it is what YOU want then go for it. I personally have a tribal tattoo, but it has meaning because it is a cross and i am Christian (fanatics spare me the bible trivia of getting a tattoo). But to each his own ya know?
