I’m a Protestant and was thinking of getting a small tattoo of a cross. I’m not very religious, but I am somewhat. I was also thinking of getting an Ohm symbol. Do you guys think it would be really stupid to get both of these? I’m going to get them anyway, just want to see what people think.
I have an ohm symbol (inside of a buddhist enso) on my left shoulder blade, and the celtic symbol for the Trinity on my right shoulder blade. I think as long as you understand both symbols, then it’s not odd. The ohm symbol actually represents a fairly Christian idea anyway: we must live our daily lives but should always be focused on the eternal significance of our actions and be seeking complete understanding. Sounds similar to the verse about laying up treasures in heaven if you ask me. Good choices and good luck with your tattoos
Is it stupid to have tattoos that represent different religions?

I always feel like tattoos should always have a personal meaning to someone. As long as the tattoo you get means something important to you, go for it. I was thinking of getting a bible verse as a tattoo just because I live by that verse and means a lot to me and has gotten me through a lot in life. So no I don’t it’s stupid at all.

Honestly, I think it’s stupid to get a tattoo of anything if you’re not sure yourself…
Don’t get a tattoo for any other reason other than you want it.
It is your body, not others, so it needs to be your decision.
Otherwise, in a couple of years, You will regret it. Make sure you know you can live with this tattoo when you get old, and it won’t cause problems for future jobs.
I got 2 small tattoos and I regret both even though it’s hidden.
I’ve spent way more money to remove it than to get it.
Just make sure you know and are sure why you’re getting a tattoo.
